How to photograph fireworks

In this tutorial I’m going to show students how to photograph fireworks. Photographing fireworks is actually easier than it looks, you just need the right equipment, settings and a good eye for composition! Here I’m going to show you how set your camera to capture fireworks as they burst in the air. We will also be looking at how to add some foreground interest into your shots.

I’ve also created a free guide to photographing fireworks which you can download and take with you when you try this out for yourself.

I’d love to see your attempts at this. If you want to show us, tag us on Facebook or Instagram @theschoolofphotography1. Make sure the post is public on FB so we can see it.
