Chiaroscuro Review 2026

Hello lovely members, it’s your ‘Chiaroscuro’ review, here we look at the best of the assignment entries and tell you who has won this month’s prize!

Chiaroscuro means light/dark and it’s a technique used in art to give dramatic effect. In portraiture you may have heard it being called the Rembrandt effect. This assignment was so hard to judge as the second-place image was sooo good. But there can only be one winner!!
