Shoot From The Hip Review 2025
Hello lovely members, it’s your ‘Shot from the hip’ review, here we look at the best of the assignment entries and tell you who has won this month’s prize!
This assignment is about shooting street or candid photos from waist level without looking through the viewfinder It’s a fun exercise that helps you see the world more naturally and take spontaneous street shots.
In this video I provide feedback on individual photos, praising creative interpretations and strong compositions, and those capturing spontaneous, candid moments that typify this assignment. Ultimately, the winner, a newcomer, wins first place with an engaging street scene that stood out for its storytelling and curiosity factor.
During this assignment, we’ve collaborated with K&F, and the winner will receive a K&F Concept Alpha Backpack 25L. Remember, to be eligible for the assignment prize, you must have taken the photo during the month of the assignment. To see more details on the prize and the prize rules, click here.
As usual, watch through the video and tell us your thoughts in the comments. 😊
