Sunsets - Mid Assignment Critique 2026
Hello lovely members, it’s your ‘Sunsets’ MAC! AKA Mid Assignment Critique.
It seems to be the perfect time of year to be doing this assignment, especially as we are having a heatwave here in Europe and in the US. Sunsets make photography look aesthetically pleasing, but they're not easy to get. When you're photographing sunsets, you will realise very quickly that getting the exposure correct is extremely hard. This is because the setting sun is very bright against the ground or the subject you are shooting. So how do you tackle that? Well, in this MAC, we're going to look at some good examples. I'm going to show you where you can get tips on how to expose correctly for sunset photography, and we're going to jump over into Photoshop where I'll show you a couple of tips.
