Wildlife Assignment Review 2025

Hello lovely members, it’s your ‘Wildlife’ review, here we look at the best of the assignment entries and tell you who has won this month’s prize!

Every now and again, my job becomes really hard, and this is one of those times! Every picture in this review could have won the prize, and there was just one point separating the winner from second place. What a great bunch of pictures I get to show you here!

This month, we’ve collaborated with Bob Books, and the winner will receive a £150 voucher!! Remember, to be eligible for the assignment prize, you must have taken the photo during the month of the assignment. To see more details on the prize and the prize rules, click here.

As usual, watch through the video and tell us your thoughts in the comments. 😊

P.S. Bob Books (our sponsor for the assignment) also chose the winning image as their favourite and wrote the following:

“All these photos are so strong. It's a tough choice. But I asked my colleagues and we all really loved the image of the '????.' Here's a line about what we liked:

"We loved the photo "?????" for its sharp focus and strong composition. It expertly captured this dramatic split-second moment of confrontation/interaction between the two birds with stunning clarity."

Don’t want to give away the winner in the text 😁

Thank you to everyone who entered into this month’s theme, even if you’ve not been mentioned here, you’ve gone out and practised and from that you’ve learnt and taken another step forward in your photography journey. And remember these are ‘our’ favourites and in this subjective world of photography, your favourites are just as valid as ours.
